The Family Cookbook Case Study
1. BEFORE & AFTER STORY
The Family Cookbook is a photography company in Portland, Oregon, specializing in preserving family food heritage with a cookbook as the end product. The company wanted more leads to their website to create immediate profit, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
2. GOAL
Convert leads looking to preserve their family food heritage to paying customers.
3. PROCESS
The Family Cookbook struggled with getting bookings because of the COVID-19 pandemic. They knew that their service was very niche and exclusive, yet the company kept getting inquiries from families that wanted a basic photoshoot versus something generational.
After reviewing their marketing strategy, I expanded their current one with Google Ads campaigns. I provided campaigns and copywriting for Mother’s Day and narrowed down their search terms to people more likely to search for this type of service. I tested out multiple campaigns and buyer search terms with their target audience in their location to see what would resonate with customers.
The results came quickly, and the company is succeeding.
